MINORI UEDA is a freelance photographer and creative producer with over 8 years of experience within the music, fashion and journalism industries. Her work focuses on creating emotion, storytelling & making an impact on the viewer – allowing them to interpret her work and translate it in their own personal way.

Having grown up in FNQ and later immersing herself in the bustling cities of Naarm (Melbourne), Meeanjin (Brisbane) and now working on Gadigal Land (Sydney), her mission is to increase diversity and create more representation within mainstream media for those who were often under-represented, more specifically, people within the BIPOC community. Representation, community and culture are constant themes within her work, and she hopes that her art will help educate the coming generations and allow individuals to be proud of who they are and where they come from.
