ABOUT MINORI
MINORI UEDA is a freelance photographer and creative director with over 7 years of experience within the music, fashion and journalism industries. Her work focuses on creating emotion, storytelling & making an impact on the viewer – allowing them to interpret her work and translate it in whatever way they see fit. Growing up with FNQ, and moving to the metropolitan city Brisbane, her mission was to increase diversity and create more representation within mainstream media for those who were often under-represented, more specifically, people within the BIPOC community. Representation, community and culture are constant themes within her work, and she hopes that her art will help educate the coming generations and allow individuals to be proud of who they are and where they come from.
